Euromicro DSD/SEAA 2020 Conference Will Be Virtual Only

Based on the authors' preferences gathered by the survey and evaluating the Covid-19 uncertain travel situation the Euromicro DSD/SEAA 2020 Conference will be performed fully virtual on the designated dates from 26th - 28th August 2020. The organizing committee is now working on the provision of the virtual conference program and technical support. We appreciate participants’ patience and understanding regarding the Covid-19 situation and strive to provide for successful virtual event. [Date: 15.6.2020]

[Date: 16.8.2020] Conference will be organized from the virtual hub in Kranj, Slovenia, University of Maribor, Faculty of Organizational Sciences, Kidričeva cesta 55a.

About Euromicro DSD/SEAA

Euromicro is an international scientific, engineering and educational organization dedicated to advancing the arts, sciences and applications of Information Technology and Microelectronics. Euromicro was founded in 1973, inspired by the emerging microprocessor technology. Since then, Euromicro has been devoted to promoting research and technology transfer in its field, as well as discussing and disseminating of knowledge, information and skills in academia, industry, government and in education. As a truly international society Euromicro strictly adheres to impartiality in national and international affairs.

The Euromicro conferences and journals are known worldwide for their scientific quality and are a live testimony of how the commitment established 45 years ago is being fulfilled.

Euromicro conferences took place since 1974 in more than 20 countries all over Europe. DSD (Digital System Design) and SEAA (Software Engineering and Advanced Applications) are organized simultaneously and covers the most actual trends in embedded, high-performance and cyber-physical applications, hardware/software codesign, software engineering and advanced applications in information technology for software-intensive systems. Both conference (SEAA and DSD) have their own main and special tracks but the keynote speeches are always selected to be interesting and benefical for all participants.

In the year 2020, the Euromicro DSD/SEAA will be Fully Virtual from 26th – 28th August 2020.

Grand Hotel Bernardin houses Slovenia’s largest congress center. It allows organizing various events in one of the most beautiful spots of the Slovenian coast. The multipurpose design of the Bernardin Congress Center allows organizing various events: conventions, seminars, workshops, presentations and business meetings, as well as other events.

Portorož - Portorose

City of "Portorož", lying in the bilingual Slovenian-Italian area, has also the Italian version of the city's name being "Portorose", which could be translated as the "Port of Roses" | "Portorož-Portorose".

Thanks to its location, Slovenia is easily accessible from several major European airports as well as by using the highway or railway networks.

Jože Pučnik Airport Ljubljana is the major airport located near the capitol city, Ljubljana. There are several direct fligths scheduled from the major airports.

From the Jože Pučnik Airport Ljubljana you should travel to Portorož, which is located 141 km from the Airport to the South-West. In order to come from Jože Pučnik Airport Ljubljana to Portorož, there are several variants.
